Make an ongoing impact in the lives of people experiencing homelessness in Philadelphia by becoming a sustaining donor. Give monthly to ensure our homeless guests are taken care of all year round.
Join our Giving Societies
We’ve named these special groups of ministry partners after four of Philly House’s founding trustees: James Pollock, W. Atlee Burpee, John B. Stetson and John Wanamaker. All of our founders were motivated to show God’s love while taking care of our city’s most vulnerable in 1878.
Whether through hot meals, shelter from the elements or a restored life; Giving Society means that our life-changing work isn’t merely episodic or cyclical: it’s sustainable! COVID-19 proves this point – throughout this pandemic, our ministry relied upon your faithful contributions and we didn’t need to fear the loss of support from our Giving Society supporters.
You can join a Giving Society by sending in one or multiple donations within a calendar year which corresponds with a giving level. Belonging to one of our societies means reliability, dependability, and sustainability. It means that behind our “24/7” programs of rehabilitation and discipleship, there is a solid core of stable support. It means that our annual budgeting process includes your giving so we know how to plan and meets needs. When community members clearly state, “We’re standing with you,” it transforms the ever-shifting sands beneath our feet into solid ground.
