To receive a bed, and to ensure that we have an available bed, we recommend that you call ahead, especially if you have questions. (Throughout the year, we are generally at FULL capacity - especially during “Code Blue” or “Code Red”.)

Philly House is located at 302 N. 13th Street in Philadelphia, just north of Vine Street. The closest public transportation is the Race/Vine stop of the Broad Street Line.

When you arrive, please use the entrance off Pearl Street.

Your belongings will be checked and secured, and you will receive a meal and a shower before bed.

For ALL institutional discharges (hospitals, prisons, etc.), an “External Agency Referral Form” must be submitted to Philadelphia’s Office of Homeless Services.  You are not authorized to discharge to Philly House, nor any other shelter in Philadelphia, without submitting this.  For more information – email or call:  OHSRDCintake@phila.gov or (215) 686-5671.
